We have a new permanent opportunity for you to consider:

Systems Administrator
  • Location: Halifax NS

PLEASE NOTE: This position is required to be onsite in office in Halifax NS


You will have an opportunity to work with a leading employer in the local market.


As the Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the availability, reliability, security and performance of IT security functions, networks/data center operations and disaster recovery plans.


As the Systems Administrator, your experience includes:
  • University degree or Diploma in IT (network administration, information systems management etc)
  • Ideally have 3+ years experience as Systems Administrator in an enterprise environment
  • Experience includes: IT security, network administration, and IT Infrastructure support. -Knowledge/Experience with IT security, planning, designing, implementing, administering, and supporting computer and network hardware and operations, operating systems, networking
  • Technology experience with:
  • Windows Server
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • SharePoint
  • VMware server virtualization technologies
  • Desktop virtualization technologies
  • Endpoint management, and backup and recovery technologies
  • MS Azure IaaS platform (nice to have)
  • Certifications: Microsoft certification, VMware certification would be nice to have
