Summary

We are looking for a Strategic Project Planner Intern to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic, works well in a team environment, is adaptable to change and is curious to learn about all aspects of the business.

The Strategic Project Planner Intern will work with our Executive Team. You will be responsible in providing project planning support to various executives with complex organizational responsibilities. Independently conduct research on growth strategies in developing the business working in a team environment. Serve as the primary support and act as a liaison between the leadership team, executives and the organization.

Your Impact

  • Understanding the executive(s)’ line of business, clients, and team
  • Identifying new ways to add value & proactively taking on new tasks to help the executive be more productive
  • Researching growth opportunities and recommend new ideas for strengthening our brand
  • Pulling reports & analyzing data
  • Taking ownership for various projects
  • Use tools such as Canva to design infographics to tell compelling stories from research and surveys.
  • Competitive analysis for SPC and conduct primary research in terms of surveys
  • Assisting with expanding the business plan
  • Identifying & recommending business solutions in the area of administrative support
  • Managing complex calendars, coordination of appointments, meetings, as well as extensive rescheduling.
  • Drafting & editing correspondence and/or PowerPoint decks (with graphs or charts) on the executive’s behalf
  • Assisting with proposal development

Requirements:

  • 3rd or 4th years student currently enrolled in Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship & Strategy, Marketing, Global Management, Retail Management or related.
  • Experience in administrative support
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong project management skills
  • Keen interest in B2B sales and entrepreneurship
  • Solutions focused perspective
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Strong storytelling from data
  • Copywriting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
