Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all janitorial service requirements are maintained as per the agreement.
  • Maintain positive relationships with client keeping regular lines of communication open, as well as conducting formal QBR’s (Quarterly Business Reviews), reporting on KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and bringing innovative and improvement opportunities forward.
  • Provide timely response, quotes and ensure invoicing is accurate for additional services requested.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled and periodic site inspections to ensure quality levels are maintained, documented and communicated to the client.
  • Conduct periodic site audits to ensure; staff sign in sheets are accurate, employee uniforms are in good order and processes are to standards.
  • Recruit and oversee/provide training for site management team and front-line employees, ensuring all are trained and working in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Ensure all scheduling and associated labor costs meet specifications required and are on budget.
  • Participate in operations management meetings and bring ideas forward to share best Industry practices.
  • Review monthly financial reports with Director of Operation and prepare corrective plans for over budget sites as needed.
  • Ensure JHSC (Joint Health & Safety Committee) is on track for meetings, reporting of minutes, initiating action plans and ensure all deficiencies and work-related incidents are reported to you in a timely manner.

Other:

  • Previous management experience within the cleaning industry is preferred.
  • Understanding proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and products.
  • Flexibility in schedule.
  • Must be able to pass a Government of Canada Clearance.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.
