Content Strategy @ Neo

Neo is looking for an exceptional communicator with strong copywriting abilities to join our team as a full-time Senior Content Specialist! In this role, you will be responsible for crafting many of Neo’s content solutions to develop customer growth and engagement across the country. As our Senior Content Specialist, you’ll be working closely with our content team to produce world-class marketing content across a variety of media. You’ll be contributing to our innovative, strategic, and high-performance content with a mission to improve the financial experience for all Canadians.
What you’ll be doing::
  • Creating and driving content strategies for a variety of channels, including but not limited to website, longform, SEO and CRM
  • Crafting messaging for these channels based on approved strategies
  • Interpreting creative direction and adapting points from creative briefs into inventive concepts and persuasive copy
  • Writing high-engagement content that reflects Neo’s brand voice
  • Working collaboratively on compelling brand stories and creating copy that helps shape a consistent brand experience across all channels
  • Collaborating with design, engineers, product, and marketing colleagues on new product features and functionality
  • Producing clear, concise, error-free content that adheres to Neo’s style guidelines
  • Proposing copy concepts and presenting underlying strategic thinking that will help achieve marketing, PR, and communications objectives
  • Providing actionable insights on trends, innovations, and competitive landscape to inform current and future approaches
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
Who we’re looking for::
  • You’ll have a minimum of 5 years experience in similar role developing and crafting content solutions
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or communications
  • You are skilled in writing compelling copy in short and long-form formats
  • You have the ability to take briefs and create engaging content for multiple platforms
  • You have a strong eye for detail and your proofreading skills are exceptional
  • You’re skilled in the nuances of writing for both organic and paid social channels
  • If you have a solid understanding of the sales funnel and how it influences copy, this is a definite plus
  • You have knowledge of core SEO principles
