StarTech Networks, Inc. is seeking an experienced Telecom wireless network engineering services Sales Manager with Canadian Work Authorization to begin working right away in Canada.

Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 per year, plus commission

Reporting Manager:CEO, StarTech Networks

Responsibilities:
  • Manages the key accounts to drive revenue and gross profit.
  • Plans penetration in listed accounts or develop new accounts.
  • Designs proposals and leads pricing with the support of Pre-sales, Delivery, and Finance teams.
  • Provide inputs through market intelligence for upcoming opportunities in a structured manner.
  • Designs and recommends sales and marketing programs and sets short and long-term sales strategies.
  • Develops strategy and budgets for Canada.
  • Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations in coordination with other departments.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively ensuring customer delight.
  • Demonstrates a consultative approach to the sale by identifying the prospects’ challenges and prescribing the right solution.
  • Be adept at cultivating, evaluating, and negotiating service agreements and contracts.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of Customer and StarTech Networks organization.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop and successfully implement strategies and manage change.
  • Knowledge of Sales and Service Delivery Processes.

To be successful in the role one must have:
  • University degree in Business or Engineering, a Master’s degree would be an advantageous or equivalent working experience.
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in a Sales role in the B2B space in the Telecom sector (with Bell & Rogers).
  • Mandatory to have relationships currently ongoing with key customer personnel in Procurement and Delivery functions that are in decision-making roles.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practices the highest level of professional integrity and ethics.
  • Determined and self-motivated, someone who can lead and run independently.
  • Demonstrable history of growing the business.
  • Overview of RF Engineering, Network Optimization, Network Planning and Design, Fiber services, Network Deployment of RAN/ Tx – MUX & Routers/ Datacenter/ Pvt NWs/ IBS and Small Cell, etc.
  • Preferably should have knowledge of telecom tools that are used in Program Management.
  • Industry leadership to represent StarTech Networks in Industry Forums.
