Duties and Responsibilities
To work in a refrigerated warehouse facility, duties involving:

• Operate, maintain and perform repairs on assigned building mechanical equipment and controls, in particular refrigeration coils and compressors, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems
• Performs other tasks related to general building maintenance and assists others as necessary.
• Assists in material handling and shipping and receiving of product, as well
• Maintain inventory control and records.
• Loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks at shipping bay
• Verifies counts and weights of incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, orders, etc.
• Pick (assemble) orders for shipment, shrink wrap, while documenting cleanliness of truck, product quality, packaging/labeling, temperatures, etc.
• Operate any equipment trained and certified to use in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete monthly physical inventory or as needed

Licenses/Educational Requirements

• Minimum educational requirement is Refrigeration Class “B” Operator
• 4th Class Power Engineers

• Forklift license or certification is an asset

Working Conditions/Requirements

• Ability to work in varying temperatures (freezer, coolers, etc) and in damp and wet conditions
• Ability to perform physical requirements such as: standing and walking for extended periods of time, bend and lift loads, reach above and below shoulders and squat
• Self-motivated and extreme attention to detail
• Heavy lifting (Up to 50lbs)
