The privately held company has over 185 employees and 11 offices across North America.

Adfast is currently seeking a Quality system Specialist.

Job Descriptions:

Under the supervision of the Quality Director, the incumbent will ensure the maintenance and improvement of the company’s processes through the ISO 9001 standard and the implementation of the ISO 14001 standard.

Working Conditions:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week; Day shift
  • Status : Permanent position
  • Benefits : Group insurance, RRSP program
  • Workplace : In person (no telecommuting)

Main duties and responsibilities :

  • Ensure the development, maintenance and certification of the quality system according to the ISO 9001-2015 standard;
  • Implement the ISO-14001-2015 standard;
  • Ensure the availability and updating of documentation for all departments related to ISO 9001 & 14001;
  • Perform internal audits and coordinate activities for external audits;
  • Report any environmental incident occurring within the organization, participate in the investigation, implement corrective measures and write the event report.
  • Implement, monitor and analyze environmental indicators;
  • Provide quality training to new employees;
  • Any other related duties in connection with the position.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in an environment-related discipline;
  • Knowledge of federal and provincial environmental standards, practices, policies, regulations and legislation;
  • Environmental management training and (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in manufacturing (a strong asset);

- Experience in environmental management and compliance - ISO 9001 & 14001 ( 2 to 3 years);

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
