Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Programmable Solution Group as a Research Scientist Graduate Intern. In this role, the intern will participate in research that investigates state-of-the-art workloads (e.g., deep learning), FPGA tools for efficiently and productively mapping such workloads on current and/or future FPGAs, as well as evaluating/modeling future FPGAs. The intern will be facilitating tech transfers and collaborations between Intel and relevant academic research groups.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork classes research, and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.
This is an entry level position, and it will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must be pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
6+ months experience in some of the following areas:
Digital design experience in RTL (e.g., Verilog).
FPGA prototyping (design, implementation, verification, debug, bring-up).
Software application development and profiling.
Computer/FPGA architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
6+ months experience in some of the following areas:
Intel FPGAs and tools.
Deep learning and/or data center workloads
FPGA acceleration, with prior publications.
Intel’s AI-optimized Stratix 10 NX FPGA
AI software framework (e.g., TensorFlow)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00
