We are currently seeking a Programmer Analyst to join Prospera’s team. The Programmer Analyst is responsible for developing high-quality solutions for Prospera’s enterprise applications. This includes enhancements and maintenance fixes to enterprise applications and the development of new services and applications. In addition, the incumbent will set up and troubleshoot integrations with other systems both internally and externally. The incumbent will work closely with Business Analysts, Technical Architects and both internal and external developers in the course of their work. The incumbent is relied upon to be a self-starter who can follow defined procedures and policies to get through the software development life cycle.

What You’ll Do
  • Implement staff and member critical solutions on multiple user platforms (Server, Client, Desktop, Web, Web API, Container) as well as work on backend databases and integration of the solutions in a large enterprise ecosystem, predominantly using the Microsoft development stack.
  • Implement functionality in low-code platforms such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform and MuleSoft.
  • Develop solutions for a hybrid ecosystem hosted on private and public clouds and on-premise.
  • Contribute to the design of software solutions as required.
  • Understand and apply common design patterns, especially with respect to microservices and the cloud.
  • Troubleshoot procedural or system content issues in concert with more senior resources across the application stack as part of supporting tier 1 and tier 2 support analysts.
  • Perform advanced database querying as required.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team, department, and business to achieve goals using internal change management and agile frameworks.
  • In addition to ‘Business as Usual’ development may be asked to be part of larger project teams with project technical leads, project managers and business analysts.
  • Seek out internal and external opportunities to apply new technology in areas of value to the business.
What You Bring
  • Education in a Computing or Engineering discipline.
  • 1- 3 years application development experience using .NET, C#, ASP.NET , HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • 1- 3 years SQL coding experience including DDL, DML, and stored procedures.
  • 1- 3 years working in a collaborative team setting contributing and adhering to development standards and best practices.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a highly technical agile team in an enterprise multi-application development environment.
  • Can drive solutions through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle through to production deployment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience designing and programming in at least one of the following technologies and have basic knowledge in a second; Structured Query Language (SQL), C#, Microsoft MVC/Blazer, Mulesoft.
