Logistics Intern

This internship will provide the right individual with the opportunity to gain a tremendous amount of knowledge of the company, our products and Logistics department through the completion of value-added projects and day to day tasks in our Toronto distribution center.

Our summer internship is a great opportunity to bring talent into the organization and expose our interns to Hilti as a future employer. Interns typically work full-time during the summer on value-added projects that are relevant to their education and that drive Hilti’s business. Individuals who successfully complete an internship will be considered for a full-time position upon graduation.

Summer interns work 40 hours a week on various projects in departments relevant to their education and in all areas of the business. Those who successfully complete an internship are considered for full-time employment upon graduation. Throughout the summer, interns will be exposed to all levels of management and participate in a variety of events, including orientation with a welcome from our CEO, an overview of the business, tool training and volunteer opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns give a final presentation to senior leadership on their experience and accomplishments.

• Are in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering
• Graduate in Fall 2022 or Spring 2023
• Are results-oriented and proactive - able to get things done and achieve targets
• Have a strong customer orientation
• Have excellent planning and time management skills
• Possess strong communication and presentation skills
• Are proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Are willing to relocate nationally
• Are eligible to work in the Canada permanently without sponsorship
