Nanuq Law has an immediate opening for a full time, in office Legal Assistant. This position is in-person only and is not suitable for remote work.

This position requires multitasking and managing competing demands of clients, lawyers and paralegals. The tasks include answering phones, interacting with clients, communicating with court staff and other professionals, maintaining and organizing files as well as drafting correspondence and pleadings. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is a must.

Graduation from Camosun College or another accredited Legal Assistant program as well as knowledge of the Supreme Court Civil Rules, forms and the litigation process is required.

Knowledge of esilaw or similar legal accounting software is a plus.
