Oakley Alarms Ltd, a proud Manitoba company serving the communities electronic security needs for over 25 years.

We are looking for a lead security technician, with a background in intrusion alarm systems, access control, and surveillance camera installation and service.

Responsibilities:

• Installing/servicing a variety of security devices, including intrusion systems, access control, and camera systems.
• Provide customer support and training on use of alarm systems, access control, and camera systems
• Provide on site organization and leadership to fellow technicians
• Provide on site company representation to customers during installation/service

Qualifications:

• Fluently speak, read and write English (other languages would be an asset)
• Manitoba class M low voltage electrical license
• Experience in the electronic security industry
• Class 5 Manitoba driver’s license
• Ability to pass criminal record check
• Ability to work at heights and on ladders
• Understanding of building construction an asset
• Positive self-motivating attitude
• Experience and understanding of IP networks (certifications would be an asset)
• Team player
• Customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$33.00 per hour
