Job Description:
- Plan new Item allocation by store to achieve ideal inventory levels to support store sales
- Work with in-store merchandizing team to create ideal layout to achieve sales targets
- Balance inventory targets by store, by item in order to achieve ideal weeks on hand
- Analyze weekly sales and create action plan with Merchandise Planner to improve sales
- Plan and suggest weekly markdowns and promotions by item to increase sales or move through risk inventory
- Set up store inventory planning system accurately, for store to automatically allocate each item
- Plan weekly store to store transfers to balance inventory levels
- Assist with other projects as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of previous experience with inventory allocation strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of previous retail experience would be an asset
- Passion for fashion and customer service
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics desired
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Quick learner with a high level of ownership, accountability and initiatives
- Logical thinker with strong mathematical and problem solving skills,
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to handle multiple priorities at the same time
- Strong computer skills, data entry/and or data mining experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office, with a focus on Microsoft Excel (previous experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP required)
- Ability to be a self-starter
- Flexible schedule to support business need
