This role will liaise regularly with our design leadership and support projects of varying types and scales in our Eastern Ontario Studios. Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of an Intermediate Designer, we’ll count on you to:- Possess superior graphic skills in relating design concepts during early and subsequent design phases of a project
- Review overarching design concepts from design leadership and independently develop subsequent design iterations and studies
- Exercise excellent communication skills both internally with colleagues and partners as well as externally with clients
- Be part of elevating design literacy and ensure that an integrated design process is occurring on all projects.
- Perform other duties as needed
- Share our desire to maintain a design-centered focus throughout all projects.
- Have proven experience in design integration on a variety of projects.
- Have an interest in developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Have 5+ years’ experience and are either licensed or in the process of completing licensure as a Registered Architect.
- Are proficient in the following design software: Rhino, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, DRofus.
- Have a positive attitude and commitment to be an active participant in our employee-owned culture.

- Experience in the areas of healthcare, educational, civic, science, and research facilities
