Ideally, you come to our client with 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist capacity and be well-versed in recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, and more. Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the Director of HR in their day-to-day functions
- Provide HR support for 250 employees
- Recruitment and selection as well as onboarding and HR orientation
- Responsible for employee engagement and performance management
- Maintain employee information - administer health and benefits plans
- Create and review job descriptions and organizational charts and amend as required
- Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures are being followed
- Support and facilitate implementation of company changes
- Identify employment issues and recommend improvements
- Other HR initiatives as required
Qualifications and Experience
- University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ HR Generalist experience
- Proficiency in MS office tools
- Ability to provide recommendations to solve HR related issues related to regulations, laws and policies
- Must be collaborative and true team player
- Ability to work efficiency across all organizational levels
Nice to have:
- Previous document management experience an asset as the client moves towards a paperless office
- experience within Construction, Property Management or Manufacturing, but not necessary, an ASSET
