The HR and Payroll Administratorwill be responsible for maintaining HRIS records, compiling and processing payroll information, and assisting other departments in ensuring key controls are being followed.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with employee new hire, rehire and termination paperwork
  • Personnel file maintenance (hard copy and electronic)
  • Manage short-term and long-term disability claims
  • Manage legislated and company provided leaves and administer group benefit changes based on company guidelines
  • Serve as the administrator for several human resources functions including recruiting, exit interviews, and creation of employment verification letters
  • Assist in preparing and processing full-cycle hourly and salary bi-weekly payrolls
  • Support the Director with month-end reporting and analysis when required
  • Help other departments with administrative support based on seasonal demand
  • Coordinate with payroll team members in answering the Payroll Help Line, provide excellent customer service and guidance to employees on payroll and benefit related issues
  • Additional duties of a similar nature, as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2+ years of Administrative, Payroll and/or HR experience
  • Recent graduate with certificate in HR or Payroll ideal
  • Ceridian Dayforce experience considered an asset
  • Experience with large volume payroll processing in a multi-province environment is an asset
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Effective problem-solving skills, ability to organize and prioritize workload with flexibility
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to deal with challenging customer service situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office suite
  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to work on weekends or general holidays when required

Precision Well Servicing is responsible for well completions, workovers, and abandonments. We use a variety of service rigs that are suited to each scope of work. The wells are located in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin which includes Northern BC, Northwest Territories, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
