Digital Marketing Specialist

Calgary-based luxury sleep tech company on international expansion seeks a dynamic individual passionate about delighting customers, externally and internally. This newly created role reports to the Director of Marketing. Understanding the customer and using data driven insights to drive marketing tactics across multiple platforms; Meta, Google, Tiktok, Pinterest, Share-A-Sale,
Youtube and more. You have strong technical competencies, and you are a data-driven problem solver, with a demonstrated track record of driving performance results. You are an expert in the world of paid social and experienced in executing social strategies that drive efficiency, incrementality, and profitable long-term customer and business out comes. Nothing is above or below you and no day will look the same.

What you will do:

Influencer Marketing

  • Establish and maintain relationships with multiple influencers at a time under an affiliate program and through cold outreach
  • Responsible for the whole influencer marketing cycle, from scouting, outreach, contracting to content delivery and reporting
  • Craft communications with influencers that effectively relay brand messages while supporting personal, long-term relationships.
  • Research and identify key Influencers across Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube who are aligned with our key demographic
  • Work alongside your lead to execute influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns
  • Create campaign briefs, messaging and guidelines to inform assigned influencers
  • Keep up with emerging trends, rising stars/ambassadors and best practices
  • Work closely with teams to increase sales, drive conversions, and optimize ROI
  • Monitor brand competitors to position the brand and product as the best choice in the market
  • Track, analyze and report on the affiliate/influencer channel performance and test learnings to optimize assigned Influencers and provide recommendations for continued improvement.


  • Initiate and optimize advertising campaigns using Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Business

Manager, LinkedIn and more – aligning to the strategic direction set out by our strategic plan

  • Monitor campaigns closely to ensure daily spending aligns with budget.
  • Analyze campaign data and create reports considering performance trends and data anomalies, while identifying opportunities for optimization

Email Marketing

  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, and testing
  • Determining target audiences for intended campaigns
  • Email template creation and refinement
  • List segmentation and maintenance
  • Creation of automation and drip sequences where needed
  • Reporting and analysis of deployed campaigns
  • Email copywriting

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Education background in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in influencer marketing, PPC and email marketing
  • Demonstrate knowledge in the areas of social and influencer strategy
  • Have a strong understanding of influencer marketing, contracting, and performance assessment
  • Actively engage with social media
  • Experience with Influencer Marketing Management Software
  • Experience with Shopify
  • Passion for digital advertising
  • Certified or Pursuing Google Ads Certification – Fundamentals, Search Advertising, Display Advertising
  • Experience with Google Ads, Pinterest Ads and Facebook Business Manager
  • Experience with Email Marketing best practices and funnel building
