Custodian (Pats Block - Up to 20 Part Time Block Postings)

We are looking for flexible Custodians that can be available to assist our Custodial Department during home Pats games for the 2021-2022 Season. Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, to be scheduled based on operational requirements as it relates to the Pats schedule.


Custodians have the responsibility of maintaining the cleanliness of all facilities at REAL. support all facilities by ensuring they are cleaned by REAL’s standards to provide a healthy and safe environment for all guests. These roles will be required to maintain the interior and exterior of the buildings and their surrounding grounds which includes following cleaning processes and procedures outlined for each area or facility.

  • Grade twelve (12) education is required.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS program and Occupational Health and Safety Standards preferred.
  • Knowledge/previous experience working with chemicals and janitorial machinery preferred.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
  • Strong time-management skills and a proven track record of delivering quality results, with attention to details.
  • This position is an in-scope position under the RWDSU Collective Agreement.
  • Qualified applicants will be subject to submitting and maintaining a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
