The Riverview Animal Hospital is a General Practice, as well as a 24-Hour Emergency Hospital and Referral Center that provides the highest quality of medical care to the pets in our community as well as the surrounding areas. We have a dedicated team of doctors, registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants and client service representatives who are devoted to ensuring your pet receives the best medical care, all while the patient’s family receives exceptional customer service.

Our amazing Customer Service team are the first and last point of contact for our clients. They act as the communication hub for our hospital and are a vital key to the success of our practice. As a Client Service Expert, your role will be to provide essential support, comfort and communication day in and day out to both our clients and fellow team members. These team members understand the need to not only meet – but exceed our client’s expectations and must be able to handle the demands of working in an emergency hospital setting.


  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls, communicating requests as necessary
  • Scheduling clinic, emergency and referral appointments
  • Manage medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
  • Be knowledgeable on products and services offered
  • Help manage the appointment flow
  • Identify and address customer needs/concerns
  • Ensure excellent communication with the referring hospitals and doctors
  • Multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Work alongside excellent fellow team members (including our Hospital Cat, Harvey)


  • A minimum of 2 years customer service experience
  • High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Awareness and understanding of others’ reactions
  • Compassion for people and their pets
  • The ability to lift 50lbs
  • Bilingualism is an asset
