Who We Are

The Customer Office team focused on understanding the full customer relationship at the Bank. We pride ourselves in being customer centric, analytical and data driven. We look at opportunities to deepen our relationship with customers through understanding their behaviours and the economics of our channels. We support the Canadian retail banking business in identifying opportunities, defining strategies and piloting solutions to innovate. We operate in a nimble manner to ensure we are responsive to the needs of our 8MM customers.

Our goal is to provide better service and increase customer retention by leveraging data and analytics to identify root causes, opportunities and to implement tactical and strategical solutions.

Who we are looking for

  • Working knowledge of SQL: ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
  • Creative, data and analytics driven mindset, with the ability to support strategic projects
  • Moderate Excel skills including Pivot Tables and V-Lookup
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage deadlines to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize based on calculated business value, using a customer-centric view that can be explained and justified by economic calculations
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal for interacting with various teams

You will

  • Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to analyse opportunities and develop tactics to retain customers
  • Support new requests and updates for high value customer pilot testing different proactive customer interventions to increase customer retention rates
  • Create presentation decks based on predetermined guidelines; present findings and analysis to a more senior audience
  • Perform descriptive analytics (with SQL or Excel) to describe customer behaviours and opportunities
  • Develop technical documentation
