We’re looking for an authentic, collaborative, and accountable Accounting and Project Coordinator Intern to experience working in the technology industry, gain insight into your profession and exposure to all areas of working for a technology company. To qualify for this internship opportunity, you must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution.

This internship will be 8-, 12- or 16- months long, depending on what you are looking for!

THE GOAL

You will gain hands-on experience in accounting and project coordination in the technology industry, while being mentored by talented industry professionals.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Post Accounts Payable invoices and expenses into the accounting system in a timely fashion
  • Prepare monthly AP, AR, expense reports & bank reconciliations
  • Be an integral part of monthly client invoicing
  • Follow up with customers on all outstanding invoices and process payments/cash applications into the accounting system
  • Accurately and appropriately file correspondence, invoices, and receipts and create a more efficient system
  • Utilize knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook) to help organize and perform administrative tasks
  • Prove your attention to detail through high level of accuracy in completing essential accounting and project coordination functions
  • Provide support to the project teams by proactively identifying and flagging possible invoice issues
  • Collaborate with Project and Account Managers in ensuring contracts with clients are up to date
  • Utilize your strong communication skills to become a core member of our operations team and a key office contact
  • Respond to a changing environment and meet shifting deadlines through prioritization
  • Report to Arcurve Accounting Manager and Director, Service Delivery

We totally get it. You’re a student – we don’t expect you to come in with a glossy resume detailing many years of experience. However, what we do require is for you to demonstrate:

  • Familiarity with NetSuite, OpenAir & Expensify or similar accounting systems
  • Previous payroll experience is an asset
