Objectives

SeeMoreGreen is in search of a self-directed and experienced Accounting and Administration Clerk to join our Admin team. Working alongside others in the Admin group and reporting to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible providing accounting and clerical support to the Administration department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in a busy work place, and is well-versed in working closely with senior management. The successful candidate will be a strategic individual with 2 plus years of administration, accounting and finance experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting, general administration and clerical support
  • Provide backup for answering incoming phone calls and assisting walk in customers as required
  • Enter and maintain precise and accurate records of payables and receivables
  • Enter key data of financial transactions into Quickbooks Desktop software
  • Reconcile any irregularities in financial transactions
  • Work collaboratively with other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances
  • Check payroll timecards for accuracy and adjust as required
  • Assist the Office Manager with the completion of Bi-weekly payroll
  • Generate and deliver reports to different departments as needed
  • Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments
  • Other finance and administrative duties as required.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2 plus years of general administration, accounting and finance experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excels at operating in a fast paced environment.

Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
